The CGI Book, by Bill Weinman (that's me!), was the first book on CGI (Common Gateway Interface—how web pages interact with web servers) published in 1995 by New Riders (now Pearson). Even though it sold well and got excellent reviews New Riders never reprinted it after the first printing of 7,000 copies sold out. By that time they had changed directions and were only interested design-oriented (less technical) titles. The rights to the book reverted back to me at some point and I plan to self-publish an update in the near future.
